Title - Thanksgiving Turkey Hands
By - Cassidy
Primary Subject - Art
Grade Level - Pre-Kindergarten

Materials: Construction paper, scissors, markers (or paint, or crayons), and children

Tell the children that they will be making turkeys using their hands. Give them each a colored sheet of construction paper for the turkey's body and tell them to trace their hands on the sheet of construction paper.

Once they have traced their hands, tell them to cut out the shape of their hand. Then have the children draw a turkey face on the thumb of their traced hand, and then to draw feathers on the rest of the fingers and color their hand shape. Then finally give them a sheet of red paper and have them draw and cut out a waddle (the waddle is optional).
