Materials:

A plain sheet of cloth material, paint paintbrushes

Discussion:

Discuss with the children what different things are green. Talk to them about different animals and plants. Have them keep a chart of all the things they talk about. Write it down and hang it up. On the sheet of cloth in large letters paint Our Sheet Of Green.

On the edges have them make a design using two shapes and then let them paint in the inside of the shapes. In the middle make all kinds of different animals with construction paper and art activities and when you are done hang them or glue them on your sheet. When you have done all you can do then hang it up and display it in your room.
