Title - Mother's Day Beads
By - Glorie
Primary Subject - Art
Grade Level - Grades 1-6

Make bead necklaces out of glossy magazine pages. Cut triangles of different sizes. (for example 3/4" x3") Each triangle, start to roll up, finishing with the small end and gluing into place. (Make sure you leave room when you start for string to pass through.) Each child can make as many beads as they want and string them on gold stretch cord or lightweight string. Some necklaces will be all beads; others will turn out with a few beads...depends on the interest level of the child.
