Title - Friendship book
By - Debbie Haren
Subject - Art, Social Studies, Language Arts
Grade Level - 2-3
Have students make a picture on a large sheet of white construction paper with watercolors, markers, or crayons. Have the picture depict what they like to do with their favorite friend. After the picture is done have them write a few sentences at the bottom describing their picture. When all the students are done punch three holes on the sides contact paper each page and then use metal rings to put the book together. Keep in the classroom and show to parents, friends, and other family members when they come in to visit the classroom. If the children cannot write have a teacher or aide write what the child says on the paper for them and read it back to the child. The children love seeing their own pictures and reading what they wrote!!!
